I’m still working on a title for my fall writing push. Last year I called it NaNoOutWriFall, but I want something more general, that includes every aspect of the writing process, from research to drafting to editing.
Whatever it’s called, I’m starting September 1 and going through November 30.
Because I’m a slow writer (who can’t write out of order, no matter how hard I try) and doubt I’d ever be able to write 50,000 words in one month, like NaNoWriMo. But I like themed things and goals and I always feel extra creative in the fall. ALL (of) the fall.
- Post a recap of SummySeries 2021, which ends Aug 31
- Fine-tune edit CLAIRE
- Enter CLAIRE in Pitch Wars at the end of September
- Start agent research
- Read SAVE THE CAT! Writes a Novel by Jessica Brody*
- Outline a new/old WIP named EMMA
*If I have time, I’ll post about my experience outlining CLAIRE and I’ll cleverly title it “Confessions of a Former Pantster” or something like that.
