Some interesting stuff to pass along

The National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress, is happening September 24-25.  If you’re in the DC area, come on down (and bring the same excitement you would if Bob Barker was waiting for you).

And speaking of the LOC, The Reading Room will be open to the public on Columbus Day (October 10).  Exciting b/c this only happens twice a year.

Read for Relief auctions are now open – visit the site, bid on awesome items, and help out the people affected by Hurricane Irene.  Clickity click on the icon below:

And last, but certainly not least…

Go check out the new YA group blog that just launched.  You know the drill, clickity click above.

Have a great week!

  1. Thanks for posting these Jen! YA Confidential looks so fun. I’m looking forward to that blog. Have fun at the National Book Festival. I was hoping to go visit a friend in DC that weekend but there’s too much going on. 😦 Next year!

  2. This looks like so much fun! I wish I lived anywhere near there (in California, boo) so I could go.

  3. I’m hoping to get out to the National Book Festival. If you’re in the D.C. area, you should check out Fall For the Book, too.
