Okay, what does it mean when your town sends you a brochure on “Disaster Preparedness: Get Ready.” I guess the town is just trying to be prepared “in case,” but it’s kinda freaky. Did you know that “emergencies and disasters can strike anyone, anytime and anywhere?” And “they can happen quickly and without warning?”
Also, did you know that Virginians “experience hurricanes, winter storms, thunderstorms, toxic spills, earthquakes, tornadoes, terrorism, flooding and fires?”
Geez, if my only knowledge of Virginia came from this brochure, I would be terrified to travel here.
Dumb brochure, Virginia is be-ah-U-tee-full!
